Amalgatron

We went to celebrate Flag Day at The Baked Potato. Amalgatron was playing. Amalgatron features Pete Griffin on bass who is also the bass player for ZPZ.

Pete sounded very jazzed by the current ZPZ rehearsals and we can't wait to see them play again before the next tour begins in July.

He'd put Ray White on the list hoping he would stop by the club, and sure enough Ray did. So I got to meet and chat with another Zappa legend. Ray said he'd moved back to Michigan, leaving San Francisco behind, and now he's getting all this work. He seemed genuinley excited about the tour ahead. When Ray left he said he had to go back to his apartment and study.

We'll get to hear Illinois Enema Bandit for real!
